Artist's Comments

This GothLoli dress was inspired for a spring day's walk in the park or a visit to the zoo; complete with parasol.

Looks very nicely put together. You should upload a slightly larger photo though so we can see it better.

I can just about see a petticaot, it gives the skirt that lovely puff out look. Did you sew it into the dress or is it seperate.

Did you make the gloves aswell? They are cute too.

I did make a separate petticoat. They are so hard to make, that I make one and use it for all my black dresses. I also did make the gloves, they were probably the easiest part of the outfit.

I love it, all poofy and lacy like, but not too much, you know? It's wonderful

You're an amazing seamstress <3 <3 I'm learning to sew at the moment, and I'm a 'big girl' [I.E. I'm fat] any suggestions on making patterns for myself, since you've been doing this for some time? =3

Please stand up straight, a man always looks more confident when he is erect...

Geometry is your friend. If you ind a place in th the pattern that is mathematically weak, you can alter it easily. This usually is the ends, center, and center of curves (like sleeve holes and inseams) if you add in the middle it usually doesn't compromise the integrity of the garment. I hope that helps.
